Bringing College Opportunities Closer To You

The Education and Training Centers were established by the Alamo Colleges to serve as a link between San Antonio and the Alamo Colleges - Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St Philip's College, and San Antonio College. Our mission is to ensure the delivery of services in such a way that our community's needs are met in the most efficient and effective manner by creating partnerships with local churches, community-based organizations, and Independent School Districts.

Developed by the Office of the Director of Student & Community Program Development, and now under the auspices of the Economic & Workforce Development Division, the Education and Training Centers are dedicated to the elimination of barriers that traditionally restrict access to college for students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

The Education and Training Centers are committed to helping students by providing preliminary college enrollment assistance to prospective and/or former students who are interested in attending any of the Alamo Colleges. They are also an avenue for community residents to attain entry-level occupation skills or increase technical skills to connect to jobs or higher education opportunities.
