The Alamo Colleges Mobile GO Center serves as an Informational Center for students and their families. Information is provided on how to prepare for, apply to, and fund a college education.

Apply Texas Processing
Participants will receive personalized assistance using the ApplyTexas website to submit their online application to any of the Alamo Colleges. In order to create an ApplyTexas profile, participants will need a personal e-mail account.

Financial AId Information/Processing
Participants will receive assistance as they apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Participants must bring the necessary documents to fill out the FAFSA. They will also explore other financial aid options such as scholarships, loans, and work-study opportunities.
The Alamo Colleges recommends that the IRS Data Retrieval Tool be used when submitting the FAFSA application. Utilizing the IRS Data Retrieval Tool will expedite the verification process. To use the tool students/parents must file their Income Taxes two (2) weeks prior to filling out the FAFSA.

Participants will gain information and insight on the pre-college path. Participants will learn what they can do now to prepare for college. They will learn what to expect and how to make their college dreams come true.
College For All Texans
Career Exploration
Participants will explore career options and will receive assistance to determine the necessary skills for workforce success. They will better understand the link between higher education and setting career goals.
Texas Workforce (Reality Check)
Bilingual presentations are also provided upon request.
