How do I locate my ACES ID or User Name?


To retrieve your ACES ID or password, use the How do I get a username and password? Click Here tool from the ACES login page.

If you are unable to retrieve your ACES ID from the lookup tool, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk).

How do I locate my Banner ID?


To retrieve your Banner ID, use the Get My Banner ID Number lookup tool from the ACES login page.

If you are unable to retrieve your Banner ID Number using the lookup tool, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk).

I am in one of the Start Here Tab Modules and I need navigation assistance.


Ensure you are in one of the following Start Here Tab Modules: Paying for College Module, I-Care Module, Assessment Information Module, or Test Preparation Module, by checking the web address. If the web address displayed begins with "https://alamo.instructure.com/courses", please contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 3.

I am logged into ACES and I am missing the Student E-mail link.


If you do not see the Student E-mail link or icon, your email account may not have been created yet. Please allow 24-48 hours after your ACES account is created.

If you do not see the Student E-mail link or icon, your email account may not have been created yet. Please allow 24-48 hours for e-mail creation. Student E-mail accounts are created within 24-48 hours after your ACES account is created.

I am not able to access the Advising-First Time in College link.


In order to receive access to the Advising-First Time in College link you must complete the High School Transcript requirements and Steps 1-5 from the MyMAP Checklist. Please allow 24 hours after completion of a module to update. If more than 24 hours have passed after completion for all the modules, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2.

I do not have the Start Here Tab in ACES


All new applicants to the Alamo Colleges should see the Start Here tab in ACES. If you do not see the Start Here Tab, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk).

I am missing MyMAP Checklist items

Only students attending college for the first time are required to complete the checklist from the Start Here Tab. If it is your first time attending college and you do not have a checklist, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk). A ticket will be opened to have your checklist corrected.

I have completed a Start Here Tab Module, but the status still shows incomplete.


To complete any of the following modules: Paying for College Module, I-Care Module, Assessment Information Module, or Test Preparation Module, you must receive a passing score of 60% or bet6ter on the module quiz. After completion, please allow 24 hours for checklist to display a check mark. If the amount of time has passed, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2.

I have completed the placement test requirements, but my status still shows incomplete. Who can I contact?


Please contact your college Assessment Center to make sure your test scores have been processed. Please allow 24 hours for the checklist to update.

When I click on a Start Here Module link it doesn't open.


If you click on any Start Here Tab links (Paying for College Module, I-CARE Module, Assessment Information Module, Test Preparation Module) and the page does not open. Check your browser compatibility in ACES by using the Browser Check tool in the Student Tab. Make sure to turn off any pop-up blockers or add the web page to the safe list. If you need assistance contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk).

When I click on the Start Here tab module links I get the error message 'Unauthorized Access"


Only students attending college for the first time are required to complete the checklist from the Start Here Tab. If it is your first time attending college and you are seeing the "Unauthorized Error" message, contact MyMAP Support at 210-485-0411, Option 2 (or your local IT Helpdesk).

When I click on the student email link in ACES, I get the "You don't have email configured" error message.
