The Student Leadership Institute will help you learn about and build the foundation for leadership development. Everyone has the potential to be a good leader. Throughout the semester, the Student Leadership Institute will share with you, through non-traditional learning opportunities, the knowledge and skills to be a great leader! In fact, participation in the Student Leadership Institute will help increase your opportunities to establish a positive network and build relationships with peers and administrators from our sister institutions, community, and business leaders.
Upon completion of the program, the Student Leadership Institute will update your transcript with program recognition of which four-year institutions and employers critically review. Most importantly, you will increase your self-confidence, improve your communication skills, build relationships, promote a positive image of the community college student, become a college ambassador, and emerge as a proactive and productive leader.
