Criminal Justice Students Association presents Making the DREAM Act Possible. The Development Relief and Education of Alien Minors Act. (DREAM Act) would legalize the status of several million undocumented youth. The bill was first introduced in 2001 and has been re-introduced each session since then. In 2010, despite passing the House, the bill came 5 votes short of passage in the Senate. l
Criminal Justice Student Association is hosting an event to explain the current status of the DREAM Act. Attorneys Antonio Almazan and Phillip A. Perez will be on campus to explain process, elgibility and answer questions about the DREAM Act.
