The Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation has a mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students, staff, and faculty throughout the Alamo Colleges District by providing education, experiences, resources, and support. We currently run two programs targeted at creating a culture of innovation at the Alamo Colleges District.

  • The Learning Company – a collaboration between local business leaders and the Alamo Colleges District to train the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
  • Innovation Challenge Launch – multidisciplinary cross-college teams compete to solve high-priority problems identified by college leadership. Teams are trained in a mini-boot camp focused on ideation, business model canvas, and human centered design.
