Special stationery and PowerPoint templates have been created to recognize two prestigious awards presented to the Alamo Colleges. The Achieving the Dream Foundation named the Alamo Colleges one of only seven Leader Colleges in the nation. The Community College Futures Assembly also presented the Alamo Colleges with the 2012 Bellwether award, a national honor which recognizes outstanding and innovative programs in community college education. To reflect our pride in these impressive achievements, we offer the opportunity to utilize special stationery and PowerPoint templates which incorporate the Bellwether and Leader College logos, along with the Alamo Colleges logo.
The Achieving the Dream - Leader College award and materials have a defined lifespan. The award is annual and the Alamo Colleges are allowed 15 months use of the logo. Since there is no guarantee that the award will be renewed, the logo should not be used on any piece that will be distributed or used after August 31, 2012. Obviously, this is an important consideration when ordering quantities of stationery, etc.
After August 31, 2012, if the Leader College award is not renewed, templates which include only the Alamo Colleges logo and the Bellwether logo will replace the current ones. Stationery and PowerPoint using the Bellwether logo should not be used after January 31, 2013.
