Quality Texas Foundation
awards special recognition to Palo Alto College
Palo Alto College received a special
recognition award from the Quality Texas Foundation for the College's progress
in implementing the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program at the Achievement
Level. This is Palo Alto's second recognition from the Quality Texas
Foundation, acknowledging the College’s improvements in deploying the Criteria
for Performance Excellence. The award was presented on June 25 at the Quest for
Excellence conference in Frisco, Texas, and was accepted by Dr. Beatriz Joseph,
Vice President of College Services, and Dr. Robert Garza, Interim Vice
President of Student Services.
At the same conference, Dr. Debra
Morgan, Director of Strategic Initiatives & Performance Excellence for the
Alamo Colleges, accepted the Partner in Excellence Award on behalf the Alamo
Colleges from LynnTomaszewski, Executive Director of the Quality Texas
Foundation. The Partner in Excellence Award is Quality Texas's highest
organizational honor. The award is given in recognition of long-term support by
an organization, and individuals of that organization, resulting in substantial
progress toward fulfillment of Quality Texas programs and goals.
The Quality Texas Foundation is a
