What is the Records Management program? 

  

The Records Mangement Program is part of the Administrative Computer Technology (A.C.T.) Department and deals with the art and science of systematically controlling information needed by an organization in the operation of its business.Records Management prepares professionals to handle the diverse and complex information needs and paperwork problems that exists in a small and large businesses and government agencies.  

What will I learn? 

An integrated systems approach in exercising control over the life cycle of a document is essential in the modern business world. The creation, storage, retention, and ultimate disposition of records are aspects of this life cycle.  

What can I do with this course of study? 

Records Management prepares professionals to handle the diverse and complex information needs and paperwork problems that exists in small and large businesses and government agencies. 

What's special about program? 

The ACT Department offers a Level I certificate which serve as the foundation for Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees.
