English, Reading and Education Division

Effective communication is at the heart of personal achievement in real world situations. The English Reading and Education Division assists students in honing their skills in the areas of writing and reading critically in preparation for college level English and reading coursework. These activities are accomplished through a two-level developmental writing program and a four-level reading program. The division also offers courses in literature in order to help students develop a broader understanding of themselves, their environment, and their cultural background.
