The Alamo Colleges Foundation scholarship application for academic year 2014-2015 is currently CLOSED.
The 2015-2016 academic year scholarship application will open JANUARY 12, 2015.
Only one application is considered per academic year. If you submitted a scholarship application any time in 2014, you must apply again beginning JANUARY 12, 2015 to be considered for scholarships for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. The Priority Deadline is April 5, 2015.
[A Second Deadline is SEPTEMBER 13, 2015 (if you miss the Priority Deadline) to be considered for any additional 2015/2016 scholarship funds that may become available.]
The Alamo Colleges Foundation offers eligible students a one-time per academic year on-line application to be considered for numerous Internal Alamo Colleges Scholarships. (Click this link to view available Internal Scholarships)

As an eligibility requirement for Alamo Colleges Foundation scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.gov.
Type your essays in a WORD document in order to run spell check and word count. Then copy and paste the essays into the scholarship application.
You can also visit the SAC Writing Center in Gonzales Hall, Room 203 to ensure your essay is perfect!

Academic Departmental Scholarships!
Some SAC academic departments also administer their own scholarship programs and therefore have separate applications.
Check with the department of your major to learn of scholarships you may be eligible for and obtain an application.
