This is the inaugural year for the Northeast
Lakeview College chapter of this organization with Cheryl LeGras, director of student development, leadership and activities as the chair and Demetril
Mitchell-Hebert, education skills specialist/advisor as co-chair.
The
National Society of Leadership and Success is an organization that helps people
discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures
from the nations leading presenters and a community where like-minded success
oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society
also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging
and organizing action to better the world. The organization has been
established at more than 300 campuses and has more than 200,000 members.
Northeast
Lakeview College currently has 300 participants. Northwest Vista College is the only other one
of the Alamo Colleges to participate in the organization and have been members
since 2008.
