Lymus Wins Table Top Tourney

Fifteen students participated in the Fall 2012 Table Top Tournament recently. Vernon Lymus was the overall student winner, beating three-time champion Dr. Eric Reno, NLC president, for the title. After a trying best of three match, including a tie-breaker, Dr. Reno relinquished his crown to the new over-all table top champion Vernon Lymus.

“The students really seemed to appreciate the opportunity to play against each other and interact with and compete against the college president, Dr. Reno,” says Crystal Willis, associate director of student activities. This activity is part of student engagement with faculty, staff and administrators.
