President of Northeast Lakeview College Search

The Alamo Colleges, a community college district located in San Antonio, TX, is seeking applications for President of the district’s Northeast Lakeview College campus. The President will serve as Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Lakeview College, the newest of five Alamo Colleges

The College’s current and only president, Dr. Eric Reno, is set to retire in January 2014 after a decade with the Alamo Colleges at Northeast Lakeview College.

“It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that I have submitted my notice of intention to retire from the Alamo Colleges, effective January 6, 2014,” says Dr. Eric Reno, Northeast Lakeview College president. “I think it only fair that I leave the best administrative position in higher education after a decade, and give someone else an opportunity to enjoy this unique and rewarding experience.”

January 2014 will be the 50th anniversary of Reno’s beginnings as a community college student, and the 40th anniversary as a community college teacher and administrator.

All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Visit the Northeast Lakeview College website for more information about the College and Human Resources for a full job description and qualifications.

A center for educational excellence, Northeast Lakeview College combines innovative classroom instruction with hands-on experience to provide exemplary enrichment opportunities. As the newest community college in the nation, we provide a variety of degree plans, flexible course schedules, and a small, student-focused environment. Northeast Lakeview College currently serves more than 6,000 students from the ten Metrocom Communities and northeast San Antonio – including Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe Counties.
