Registration Open for Alamo Colleges 2014 Summer Robotics Camp

This summer the Alamo Colleges are offering a one-week robotics camps. The Robotics camp is a fun-filled, interactive hands-on experience that gives children an opportunity to design, build and program LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots. The camp allows students to work in small groups of 3-4 guided by an instructor and teaching assistant. SpaceTEAMS is a program intended to generate interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers. The camp will progress from self-guided basic robot builds and programming to mini-challenges with a final day exhibition performance by all groups.

These camps are made possible in part by a donation from Rackspace Hosting. The camps hosted at San Antonio College are for third through fifth graders although entering sixth graders may be considered depending on the applicant pool.
