LS-AMP CIMA Undergraduate Research at UTSA

The LS-AMP CIMA Undergraduate Research Program is a partnership between the Alamo Community College District and UTSA where Alamo Colleges students have the opportunity to be paired with UTSA faculty mentors and their research projects. Students will gain exciting hands-on experience during this 10-week research opportunity in one of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geological Science, Physics, Psychology

Programs Details:

  • Up to $3000 stipend for participants that complete the program
  • Research will be done at the UTSA main campus
  • The program is from June 2nd to August 8th
  • Students should be prepared to work Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours a week, during this 10-week period
  • Students must be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) major
  • Application packet deadline is March 28th

Applications should be submitted electronically to the Co-PI on the applicant’s home campus along with an unofficial transcript and letter of recommendation.
