The specialization in Game Production provides training in principles and techniques used in the production of interactive 2D and 3D games. Students will have the opportunity to learn game testing, game design, programming and scripting languages, modeling and animation skills, level and world editors and game engines used to design and develop games, and will examine market research and business concepts related to game production and distribution processes.

Occupational profiles indicate an 13-18% growth for Multimedia Artists, Animators and Computer Programmers* by the year 2022 in the Alamo Region. (*When combining Game Development with 3D Animation).
