Student Story: Nina

Photo of NinaWhile Nina Muli, 18, is the first among her siblings to go to college, she received inspiration from another family member to attend Northwest Vista College.

“My mom just graduated as a Medical Doctor (at a local university) which motivates me even more to further my education!”

Nina plans to get her associate degree at Northwest Vista College by the spring of 2014. She says an associate degree means she will accomplish the first step in her educational goal.

Attending NVC, Nina added, will save "a lot" of money in trying to reach her future aspirations. After NVC, Nina plans to transfer to UTSA to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Her dream is to one day become a nurse practitioner.
