December 4, 2014 - End of Semester Bash

We would like to invite you to volunteer at the bi-annual end of semester bash hosted by the Cat Crew Programming Board.

Volunteers, Will be setting up passing out giveaways, helping with Inflatables and games, and breaking down. Volunteers are needed from 10a.m.- 3:30p.m. If you have any questions or want to volunteer for this event please contact Bianca Ramirez at

December 6, 2014 - Elf Willie Holiday Party

A get together celebration to not only distribute the gifts from the angel tree sponsors, but for the families to spend time together and have food & fun. Volunteers will be helping with crafts and distributing food to parents and their kids.The event will take place in HH113 from 11am-2pm. Phi Theta Kappa: Northwest Vista College local chapter is hosting a banquet for members

(between 3pm and 5:30pm): Setting up for banquet.
(between 5:30pm and 6:30pm): Sign in, programs, ushering.
(between 7:15pm to 7:45pm): Serving food, drinks, cake.
(7:45pm to 8:15pm): Break down

Looking for a unique college experience? The College Ambassadors Program was established to promote the vision, mission and values of Northwest Vista College and to enhance recruiting and retention efforts. Individuals selected to serve as College Ambassadors represent a select group of knowledgeable, motivated and enthusiastic students who assist with college community activities and special events. Benefits include scholarships, leadership training, and networking opportunities.

Ongoing - Tour Trackers


We are passionate about helping our community become familiar with the campus and the programs available. Through your experiences, you have become experts in student life. Therefore, you the student, can help others understand what college life can be like at Northwest Vista.


Conduct tours for future students, community members, and guests.

Serve as a representative of the college

Provide accurate information about college programs and services.

Tour Training is provided.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 1-2 hours/week. Tours normally take 45 min. – 1hr.

Visit Vista Preview is a great opportunity for potential students to learn about the enrollment process and tour our beautiful campus. Volunteers will be greeting students, assisting students with general questions and conducting tours.
