Program Requirements.  The Leadership Certificate will be awarded to students who complete the following requirements:

Team Building Activities (Low Ropes Challenge Course), 4 Hours

The Challenge Course is a tool used to enhance the individual, group, or team experience in an exciting, dynamic way by using the experiential approach to learning.  This approach is based on the idea that change and growth take place when people are physically, socially, intellectually, and emotionally involved in their learning rather than just being receivers of information.

Community Service, 4 Hours

Community Service Hours will be completed at your discretion. You'll need to provide the program organizer with a verification letter from each hosting organization.  For information on community services opportunities, please visit Student Life's webpage at

Journal Reflections (Program Capstone)
