New Mathways Project (NMP)
Do you want to complete your developmental math courses and a credit math course in 1 year?
Then this may be the project for you!
During the Fall semester, complete a Dev Ed Math course (MATH 0442) and a credit Student Success course (EDUC 1300) and then take Elementary Statistics (MATH 1442) in the Spring semester. This allows students to take one less developmental math class.
Who should go this route?
Students majoring in Art, Criminal Justice, Dance, Digital Art, Liberal Arts, Mexican-American Studies, Music Technology, New Media Art, New Media Communication, Psychology, Speech, Pre-Nursing, Advanced Water Treatment, Digital Media, Information Security & Assurance, Network Administration, Personal Fitness, etc.
Check your degree plan and talk to an advisor in CCC-126, or visit the Math department in JH-213.
