As required by the U.S. Department of Education, Palo Alto College will submit a Fifth-Year Interim Report in September 2017 as part of the 10-year accreditation status from SACS-COC.

Palo Alto College's Veterinary Technology Program is accredited by the Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). 

The Landscape and Horticultural Science Program is accredited by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).

The Ray Ellison Family Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

PAC's programs are approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
