Courses are offered in two formats: day classes and evening/weekend classes. Completion time is determined by which format the student chooses. Students interested in completing all three certifications can accomplish this in 5 months with the day classes and 9 months with the evening/weekend schedule. See below for a detailed timeline of each certification.
Tuition assistance is available for eligible individuals who wish to enroll in Continuing Education courses. The Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) may be used. Financial aid will be awarded between 60-100% of the course tuition. The standard Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed a minimum of eight (8) weeks prior to registering for the class. In order to be eligible for financial aid, the free application provided by FAFSA must be completed and submitted. When the Student Aid Report (SAR) is received, you must complete an application for the TPEG upon registering for the class. Awards will be based on determined eligibility and available state funding. Forms are available in the Student Financial Services Office in the Palomino Center.
