Criminal Justice
Degree Programs
Students may pursue a 2-year Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Palo Alto College and they may transfer their credits to a four-year institution leading to a Bachelor's degree in Criminal justice or Criminology.
Transfer plans are in place with the following local schools:
- Texas State University at San Marcos;
- University of Texas at San Antonio; and
- Texas A&M University at San Antonio.
Be advised that following these transfer plans will not necessarily earn you AA degree. Students completing a transfer plan are eligible to receive an AA degree from Palo Alto College only if they are meeting the AA requirements. The criminal justice advisor can provide you with a plan for both A&M and UTSA so that you will receive both the AA and meet the transfer requirements.
All students should seek advisement before enrolling in a program.
