The Speech faculty regards speech as the basic tool to effective communication. Our courses are geared to help students improve their ability to communicate in both social settings and in the workplace, and are designed to promote self-confidence and speaking ability in order to enhance the individual student's potential for achieving his/her personal, educational, and professional goals.

Course topics include:

• Interpersonal Communication
• Business and Professional Speech
• Oral Interpretation
• Voice and Diction

The program also offers pronunciation and public speaking courses for the non-native speakers of English.
