CLEP
CLEP - The College-Level Examination Program through College Board is a computer-based test that provides an opportunity for students to obtain college credit courses in areas that they may have attained college level proficiency.
Students taking the CLEP test will earn equivalent college credit from the Alamo Colleges when attaining the scores indicated and the credit is treated as equal to a grade CR in the corresponding course (but is not included in GPA calculations).
CLEP credit is not applied to the transcript until the student has successfully completed 6 regular college credits at one of the Alamo Colleges. Students may not earn more than 32 total hours from any testing equivalency source. For more information on what credit is awarded, please read the following catalog listing.
