KSYM 90.1 Pledge Drive Kicks Off!

San Antonio College’s student-run radio station, KSYM 90.1, is gearing up for its annual pledge drive starting Monday, March 24th. Some 40 special guest DJs, drawn from the San Antonio community, are scheduled to participate in guest shifts to help raise funds for the station. Last year's guest DJs included media personalities, civic leaders, music industry people and many others.

The money raised during the pledge drive will be used to replace and improve the station's equipment, including microphones, headphones and recording equipment as well as to replace office equipment such as computers, fax machines and printers. Pledge drive funds also are used to pay our annual licensing fees including the BMI/ASCAP/SESAC fees, and the fees required for web streaming. Funds from listeners also make it possible for KSYM students to attend the College Broadcasting Convention and meet with students from other stations across the United States.

The pledge drive begins March 24th through March 30th. Make your pledge by calling 210-486-KSYM (5796) or go online to ksym.org ! Or, you can drop by and deliver your donation in person at the KSYM studios every day during the drive from 7am to 9pm. Designated parking spots are reserved for folks who want to donate in person.
