in student activities and clubs that interest you. Becoming better acquainted
with your fellow students is a great way to make the most of your experience at
San Antonio College.
The Loftin Student Center, centrally located on the campus
is the hub of many events, activities and social gatherings.
Participation helps you feel a part of the college and
enables you to build friendships and develop leadership skills that will benefit you for a lifetime.
TEXTBOOKS: For
textbooks, go online to the San Antonio College bookstore or visit the
bookstore in the Loftin Student Center basement.
A student of this institution is not under any obligation to
purchase a textbook from a college-affiliated bookstore.
The same textbook may also be available from an independent
retailer, including online retailers such as: Albris, Amazon,
Big Words, Bookrenter, Chegg,Textbooks, Collegebookrenter, or Texbookx.
WRITING CENTER:
Located in in Gonzales Hall, the center
offers free services to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
MATH LABS have walk-in tutoring for developmental
and college level mathematics.
EARLY CHILDHOOD
CENTER is designed to provide a model quality childcare and education facility
for the community.
EMPOWERMENT
CENTER houses the Women’s Center, Seguir Adelante Program, and Mi CASA (Career
Advancement & Self-Sufficiency Assistance) Program.
MEGA LAB is located on the 5th floor of the Moody Learning Center. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
STUDENT
LEARNING ASSISTANCE CENTER (SLAC) is found on the 7th floor of the Moody
Learning Center.
