Available Equipment
The Office of Technology Services, Audio/Video Unit provides San Antonio college students the opportunity to borrow audio video (AV) equipment. Due to the limited inventory equipment is checked out on a first-come, first-served basis or reservation, the equipment is only available to currently enrolled students. Please access the Equipment Checkout page for more information. There is no cost except for any repair or replacement needed while under your care. This web page provides an overview of the equipment available for students.
Laptops are available to students; they are windows based and have basic software including the Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. A few laptops have the Adobe Creative Suite preinstalled. MACBooks have OSX and Microsoft office. A few may have CS3 or CS4 preinstalled. There is limited inventory of Laptops and MACBooks, they are loaned with accessories and a carrying case.
Digital Cameras and Digital Camcorders are loaned to students with camera accessories and a carrying case. They are available for current students working on a class project. Our digital cameras have picture and video capabilities; our video cameras have video capabilities with editing options. Due to the limited inventory they can be reserved and borrowed for a limited time or until they have completed their project.
Projectors are loaned to students with accessories and a carrying case. They are available to current student working on a class project. Due to the limited inventory they can be reserved and borrowed for a limited time or until they have completed their project.
Multi Media Carts are available to students and are equipped with a Cart, Projector, Laptop (standard laptop software), Speakers and other hardware and accessories. Due to very limited inventory we encourage reservation.
