San Antonio College to hold Nurse Pinning Ceremony
The Pinning Ceremony is a time-honored nursing school
tradition, dating back before the turn of the 20th century. Students
receive their nursing pins after meeting the necessary program requirements for
completion of the nursing program. The event
includes the Nurse’s Pledge and lighting ceremony.
Seating is limited, guests must have tickets.
For students who have completed the nursing program, their
families and other invited guests.
Special guest speaker: Ronda Evans, a 1994 graduate of San Antonio College.

There are three officers from the Texas Nursing Students' Association graduating and will be recognized for their leadership. The Ray Lynn Ruiz award for Caring Nurse will also be presented at the ceremony.
