The purpose of the Instructional Technology Innovation Center Mini-Grant program is to foster and support educational technology innovation at San Antonio College. This program supports faculty members at San Antonio College who are willing to explore and report on new ways to integrate technology and learning. In addition, these grants will help improve student learning via application of innovative and useful instructional technology. An individual faculty member's grant request may not exceed $500 per academic year.
An Instructional Technology Innovation Mini-Grant Review Taskforce will be formed under the Teaching with Technology committee to review proposals and recommend recipients to the Vice President of Student and Academic Success. The team at a minimum will include a college administrator, college staff member, two faculty members, and two student representatives from San Antonio College.
Instructional Technology Innovation Mini-Grant program is available to all tenured, tenure-track, or adjunct faculty members at San Antonio College. The award period for the Instructional Technology Innovation Mini-Grant will begin January each year and end August 31.
