The San Antonio College Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students won an award for best use of labels in “Face of Change” in the eighth Annual San Antonio Canstruction.

Canstruction is part of an international happening held in 215 cities.  The No. 1 rule is to construct something cute or clever out of canned goods to call attention to hunger.   All food stuffs used in Canstruction is eventually donated to the San Antonio Food Bank.

The projects are on view through Sept. 21  in North Star Mall.

You can still vote for the People's Choice Award:

Choose your favorite Canstruction!  Voting concludes Thursday, September 19.  The winner will be announced  Friday, Sept. 20.
