Fire Academy enrolling…

The San Antonio College First Responders Academy is now enrolling students for the Night Fire Academy.

Fire Academy enrolling now for night classes

 

The San Antonio College First Responders Academy is now enrolling students for the Night Fire Academy.

Classes will be July 8 through Dec. 15 and meet evenings and Saturdays.  This program is designed for students who are unable to attend the full-time academy during the day and prefer to have classes nights and weekends.This program is limited to 25 students.

Deadline to apply is July 2, 2013.

Upon completion of the fire academy the students will:

  •       Be eligible to test for Texas Firefighter Certification; and
  •       Receive 27 college credit hours applicable to a Fire Science AA degree.

 The traditional (daytime) Fire Academy classes are Aug. 19 through Dec. 15.
