Welcome to San Antonio College! New Student Orientation (NSO) is
mandatory for all First Time in College students and must be completed to register for classes. It will include sessions covering topics like Preparing for Your Academic Journey, Beyond the Classroom: Student Engagement, a Campus Resource Fair, a Campus Tour, Group Advising and provide
you with all the tools you need to register for your classes.
BEFORE SELECTING AN ORIENTATION DATE, PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW INFORMATION CAREFULLY.
The following First Time in College enrollment steps must be completed BEFORE you select an orientation session to attend. If the six below steps have not been completed, then you cannot attend orientation.
- ApplyTexas Application
- Submit transcripts
- Provide proof of Bacterial Meningitis vaccination (if under 22 only)
- Complete Alamo Enroll modules (Go FAARR)
- Testing Requirement (TSI), if applicable
- Required post-TSI assessment check-in (located in FAC 105)
- Complete any required INRW or Math refresher courses, if applicable.
If you have completed ALL of the above steps, you may register for an NSO. Students are required to stay for the entire length of the NSO they choose. Space is limited for each session,

All NSOs will begin in the Loftin Student Center. Click here for the campus map. Visitor parking on campus is limited, so be sure to arrive early. Parking is also available on streets near campus.
