San Antonio College students and staff have another option
in off-campus parking with a parking lot at the old
Playland Park location. Two shuttle buses
operate from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and run every 15 minutes between
the parking lot and campus.
An Alamo Colleges
parking permit is required to park at this off-campus location.
This parking location supplements the parking lost to
construction projects on campus. Students, staff and construction
workers are encouraged to park at the location.

Located at 2222 N. Alamo, the Playland Park lot is about 1.4
miles from SAC and can accommodate approximately 650 cars. The 40-passenger shuttle
will drop passengers off near the Fletcher Administration Center at Dewey and Lewis.
The shuttle ride takes about 7 minutes. The last
shuttle will leave campus at 6 p.m. each weekday. The
parking area is fenced, lighted and there is security monitoring.

Getting there:
From SAC: Head east on
E. Dewey toward Ogden. Continue on W. Josephine. Turn left onto N. Alamo –
parking entrance will be on the right.
From US 281 North - exit
Mulberry then turn left, go under the overpass and the parking lot is on the
left at the intersection of Josephine and N. Alamo. The entrance is from N.
Alamo.
From US 281 South –
take St. Mary’s St. exit toward Stadium
Drive. Slight right onto N. St. Mary’s St., then slight right onto E. Mulberry.
Turn right onto
Broadway, left onto N. Alamo St./Cunningham Ave.
Continue to follow N.
Alamo – parking will be on the left.
From I-35 – take exit
158C to N. Alamo/Broadway. Turn right on N. Alamo.
The
parking is on the right.
