Student Activity Fee
The Office of Student Life welcomes funding requests for the Student Activity Service Fee Committee. The Student Activity Service Fee Committee reviews requests for funding from students, student organizations, campus wide committees, and faculty/staff looking to develop an activity specifically for students.
These activities cannot be solely academic in nature or supplanting an existing budget. Some examples of activities are speakers, entertainers, plays, etc. These funds cannot be used to support non Student Life operational expenses, limited classroom based activity or any academic expenditure.
In order to be eligible for funding, you must have attended a Student Activity Fee Training Session once every two years. For training dates, times and location, please go to the events calendar and search "special events".
For review, a copy of the presentation given at the training sessions can be found in orgsync by clicking here .
The committee is composed of nine members. Five students appointed by the Student Government Association and four faculty/staff appointed by President Zeigler. The committee meets monthly to review requests. Applications are due two weeks prior to the committee meeting. Meetings will not be held in January, May, June, July, August, and December.
