Before you transfer, graduate! Make sure you keep up with graduation and commencement deadlines.
Remember the difference: Graduation is a two step process; where you inform the college that you have successfully and officially completed all requirements to graduate, so that you may receive your diploma. Commencement refers to the ceremony celebration where you walk the stage. You must meet the eligibility criteria to graduate and participate in the Commencement ceremony.
