SPC CORE4 STEM Volunteer Drive

New-for-2017, all are welcome to volunteer with St. Philip’s College to support the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's annual CORE4 STEM program that promotes STEM education for prospective college students.

Volunteer with the college online through the chamber for opportunities available during CORE4 STEM Family Day Nov. 4 at SPC, along with CORE4 STEM Move In Day Nov. 6 in the Expo Hall of Freeman Coliseum, followed by Latina Day (Nov. 7) and Latino Day (Nov. 8) where college employees and students will be exhibiting, recruiting and giving back as volunteers at the Freeman Coliseum.

No matter where they serve, volunteers help the college and the chamber with greeting attendees, helping with registration and check-in, directing students to designated locations, managing three major breakout areas, assisting a photographer, answering attendee questions, helping with getting students to restrooms, handing out snacks, transitioning students between the breakout areas, and directing exhibitors to respective booth areas. Volunteers are designated to locations upon arrival, and their help is appreciated. Volunteer online with the chamber at For details on the college’s CORE4 Family Day program, contact Ruben S.
