On Feb. 22, the San Antonio Business Journal reported the 2017 board of the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce includes the leader of SPC. According to the article Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce announces new board members, SPC President Dr. Adena Williams Loston joins a board team that represents such businesses as Turner Construction, Alliance Spine, USAA, The MightyGroup, The Observer News Group, The Gervin Youth Academy, Majestic Events by Maria, Keys Bookkeeping, True Vision Church, Dream Weaver Florist-Broadway Bank, Indatatech, United Way, Donald Mooney LLC, Port San Antonio, Britts and Associates, San Antonio Water System, Genesis Professional Services, CPS Energy, and Veniese Ventures International.
