St. Philip’s College will observe the 2013 Black History Month with a lineup of seven free events and one paid event Feb. 1-29, beginning with an opening ceremony February 5 at 9 a.m. in the Heritage Room of the Campus Center building at the college’s MLK Campus at 1801 Martin Luther King Drive with featured guest speaker Bishop David Copeland, Pastor of New Creation Christian Fellowship and 2013 MLK Commission Chairman.

Immediately following the Opening Ceremony is our Meet the Artist Reception featuring Howard Rhoder, SPC alumnus and local artistin the Morgan Gallery in the Watson Fine Arts Center (Bldg. #1).
