Students will spend one semester at a partner institution in a country other than their own. They will take regular courses at the host institution which will meet the requirements of their academic plan at home.
In addition, they will work with a faculty member on an independent research study while studying abroad. Students will be under the guidance of faculty from the home and the host institution.
The program is designed so that the courses taken at the host institution, as approved by her/his academic advisor, will count towards degree requirements at the home institution.
The program will provide a monetary stipend to the student while studying abroad. In general, it should cost no more to study abroad for a semester than to stay at the home institution.
