Grant Writing Courses
At a time when non-profit organizations and private individuals are scrambling to find funding for a variety of important programs, grant writing classes are especially helpful and could make the difference between suffering through a frustrating search for funds and benefitting from a strong financial situation. The Academy for Professional and Personal Enrichment (APPE) offers the following classes for anyone interested in learning about the grant writing process. Each class is taught by a highly-experienced instructor whose expertise includes extensive knowledge of and experience with the grant-writing process as well as in the administration of grant-funded programs.
Introduction to Grant Writing
Students enrolled in this course will receive an introduction to grant writing. Course topics include defining the purpose and identifying the need for grants, understanding a needs assessment, identifying grant resources, and finding the right grant for your purposes. The layout and format of a proper grant proposal will be emphasized.

Advanced Grant Writing
