Science and Math Summer Academy, SAMSA-2012

St. Philip’s College is now accepting applications for its all free Science & Math Summer Academy (SAMSA) for children ages from 11 to 15 years old. This year SAMSA will include hands on activities in Medical Instrumentation Technology, Atmospheric Sciences, Genetics, Space Exploration, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Students will also attend weekly field trips centered on lessons taught in classes. Tentative field trips for this year include Witte Museum, Natural Bridge Caverns, IMAX theatre, OCTA-TETRA Museum, and the San Antonio Zoo.
