The Seguin Independent School District highlighted its student success with St. Philip’s College on social media this week.

When the district Twitter page https://twitter.com/seguinisd?lang=en read “In honor of National Early College High School Week, Seguin ISD would like to recognize and salute the thirty-one students who will be earning their Associates degree from St. Philip's College. #MatadorPride #MatadorsUnitedhttps://twitter.com/seguinisd” the April 25 tweet was retweeted by the school principal and others on the district team. The Seguin students are among many being honored during the St. Philip's College Spring 2018 commencement ceremony May 11 at 7 p.m. in Freeman Coliseum at 3201 E. Just in time for the city’s Tricentennial, students from a history-making three separate St. Philip’s College early college high school classes will walk the stage, including first classes from the St. Philip’s College Early College High School with San Antonio Independent School District and the St. Philip’s College Early College High School with Seguin Independent School District. They will be joined by the 2018 class of students from Alamo Colleges-Memorial Early College High School (Comal Independent School District) to receive a record bevy of St. Philip’s College degrees and certificates before they graduate from high school.
