Tiger PAWS Literary Art Journal

Tiger PAWS (Personal Academic Writing Space) is a showcase of student work consisting of writing, in both English and Spanish, and artwork that is published in hardcopy and online forms at the end of fall and spring semesters. St. Philip’s students are encouraged to submit their writing and artwork for publication consideration. Categories include:

  • Short Fiction (1000 word limit)
  • Non-fiction (essays, journals, etc.)
  • Poetry
  • Photography
  • Fine Art (paintings, sculpture, collages, etc.)
  • Digital Art

Student Submissions

Student submissions must be original, unpublished work. Students may submit a total of five (5) works. The Spring 2017 submission deadline is March 3, 2017. Files submitted online must be in PDF, Word, or JPEG formats. Fine art may be taken to the INRW 0420 Lab in NTB 405 to be photographed or scanned.

Student Editors

Become a Student Editor for Tiger P.A.W.S. today! Deadline is February 24.

Publication Event

At the end of fall and spring semesters, published students will have an opportunity to present or display their work at the Tiger PAWS publication event. All are invited to attend, and copies of the journal will be distributed. The Spring 2017 Publication Event will be Tuesday, May 2 in the Heritage Room from 4:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m.
