Join us as we honor our veterans on November 8, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. by the SPC Veteran's Memorial Monument. After the memorial observance we will begin our schedule of events below at 10:00 a.m. in the Heritage Room. 

  • Introduction: Allen “Chip” Hannay Master of Ceremonies St. Philip’s College (SPC) Faculty (English) Department of Communications and Learning
  • Posting of the Colors: St. Mary’s University Color Guard
  • National Anthem: Edinir DeOliveira, SPC Employee accompanied by U.S. Army Jazz Ensemble, Joint Base Ft. Sam Houston
  • Invocation: Jeffrey Garner Pastor New Jerusalem Baptist Church
  • Pledge of Allegiance (audio clip): Ms. Wallings, 3rd Grade Class Bowden Elementary (along with audience participation)
