AlamoEXPERIENCE
Gain Experience, Make Connections
Through AlamoEXPERIENCE, students participate in experiential learning opportunities to engage with employers, develop their skills and establish connections for their future careers.
What is Experiential Learning?
Employers hire individuals who can demonstrate soft skills and career-related skills. Experiential learning provides a real-world understanding that enhances academic success through active learning experiences and personal reflection. Self-reflection empowers you to take charge of your own learning and make connections to launch your career journey.
Why is experiential learning important?A college degree or certificate often plays an essential role in achieving career goals, but the skills you obtain through experiential learning can make your application stand out to potential employers. While gaining key experiences, you can also explore your skills and determine if a career would be a good fit for you. |
