St. Philip’s College is proud to announce that it has been named one of the 2024 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges by The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education (Diverse).

This recognition highlights community and technical colleges that demonstrate exceptional commitment to diversity in various areas, including race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, class, veterans, and thought. These institutions are distinguished for their best practices in student and staff recruitment and retention, inclusive learning and working environments, and meaningful community service and engagement opportunities.

As an award-winning institution, St. Philip’s College has been granted a specially designed logo to promote its commitment to diversity during student and staff recruitment efforts and to showcase its dedication to inclusiveness. The college will also be featured by Diverse in its May 23, 2024 edition.

Sister colleges, Northeast Lakeview College, San Antonio College, and Palo Alto College were also recognized.
