A Call to Action: Our Multiple Imperatives for Student Success.
On December 7, 2012, Chancellor Bruce Leslie assembled a diverse group of Alamo Colleges leaders at the Toyota manufacturing plant in South Bexar County to launch an organizational call to action. The participants included Alamo Colleges’ trustees, vice chancellors, associate vice chancellors, vice presidents, deans, Faculty Senate and Unified Staff Council. The presentation provided an overview of our current environment and critical trends taking place in higher education. It was the first of a series of meetings with the overall goal of greater collaboration, understanding, speed and ingenuity in the development of our strategic initiatives.
