The Student Financial Aid office welcomes you to visit any of our five colleges for assistance at our Financial Aid Saturday events this year. Applying for financial aid is the first step in unlocking funds to support your education, including:
- Grants - Free money that you don't have to pay back
- Work-Study - Earn money to help cover your educational expenses
- Loans - Borrowed money that you'll have to pay back

Due to a major overhaul of the FAFSA process in the previous academic year conducted by the U.S. Department of Education, the opening of the 2025-2026 FAFSA is being delayed until December 1, 2024 to ensure a seamless rollout for students and families. |
The paper and online 2025-2026 Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) will be made available at the same time as the FAFSA. |
Financial Aid Assistance Dates
Receive one-on-one assistance with your questions about the FAFSA, TASFA, and creating an FSA ID during our first two fall events. Open from 9am to 1pm on the following dates:
